Peri Peri Night

October 9, 2011

Last thursday night, Ayessa and I battled the Makati traffic and the harsh MRT crowd just to meet up with Yeye in Megamall. Ayessa and I work in Makati while Yeye works all the way in Q.C. Before, it’s the two of them who were always together since they both worked in GMA. Now, Ayessa and I are officemates and roommates and I see more of her face than I intend. (Hahaha. I hope you’re reading this!!!!)

It’s weird how I spent many of my last college days with these two (and with Ate Anj!) since they’re both Broad majors and I’m a Journ major. We fatefully shared the pangs of taking our thesis subjects later than our batchmates. We were forced to be together all the time. It was fun, though, and they turned the all-nighters into fun ones.

Am I kyot or am I kyot?

Anyway, I really missed Ye because we’ve been friends since high school. We had quite a history, though, since she was the crush of my crush back in first year high school. MWAHAHA. I bullied her a little back then. I bully her even more now. That’s why I miss her so much. I can’t bully anyone as much as I bully her!!

We ate at Peri Peri. The way she said it, I thought it was Merry Perry. Ayessa thought is was Merry Merry. We have very good listening skills.

I ordered Everyday Platter C because I was so hungry, and my appetite has been crazy lately. No, I’m not pregnant. Hahaha. The food is so good. Platter C includes a quarter of a chicken, two chili wings, a side dish, rice, and iced tea. For only P168! It’s so worth it, okay. And I chose the Hot & Spicy flavor for my chicken. I loved the food, and I will come back to eat more.

This photo doesn't do the food justice.

We also ordered Mozarella Sticks. It doesn’t look that good, but it tastes amazing especially when it’s still hot. I was already so full at this point but I managed to eat a stick and a half. It’s P140 but I assure you that it’s worth your money.

(P.S. I had a haircut and my hair looks weird. I’m thinking of cutting it again just because. Heh.)
