The Korean Experience

February 20, 2011

My family had a pre-Valentine dinner last Sunday and it’s just ASKFKAFA awesome. Eating at a Korean restaurant is always such a nice experience for me. I don’t think my mother can say the same thing for herself but seriously, eating at a Korean restaurant makes me abnormally happy. Like I’m actually in Korea or something.

I had a good time just sitting there like I’m really in a restaurant in Korea, without my slippers/shoes/, sitting on the floor. Minus the drinking of soju, though. Also, we had grilled galbi (beef), and it really felt like all my Korean dreams came true. Well, some of it, anyway. The side dishes filled more than half of the table, and I still had difficulty using chopsticks. I should practice on that, though. I should perfect that skill before I go to Korea. Heh. We had fun taking photos and acting like we’re MiHo (My Girlfriend is a Gumiho) who’s incredibly happy just by eating galbi. I really enjoyed everything. Except for some of the side dishes. Heh.
